Import Google Chrome passwords

Importing Google Chrome passwords This article explains how to import passwords from passwords exported from Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome browsers.

When you change your computer or reinstall Google Chrome, you might have trouble trying to import passwords that you previously exported. The problem is possible to be fixed, albeit temporarily. You can go to the relevant field from Settings>Autofill>Passwords or by searching for the chrome://settings/passwords link in the address bar in Google Chrome. When we click on the three dots on the right side here, we will only see the "Export passwords" section.

In this area we right-click on it and click on the "review" section.

In the window that opens on the right side, we search for CTRL+F and MenuImportPassword code among the codes in the "Elements" tab. It will take you directly to the code part we are looking for and here we click on the "hidden" text next to the dropdown-Item text and delete it and complete it with the Enter key.

Later, when we come back to the passwords window, we can see that the "Import" section has arrived. Here you can select your previously exported password file and import your passwords.
